It has been too many years since I wrote and I have so many things to share.
It has been 4 years to be precise, since November 2020.

It is now March 2024 and it seems like it has been 10 years!
I spent 3 months in South Africa, I’ve been 4 times in the Maldives, I went to Dubai, Paris, Turkey and many other places… I earned one more master’s degree and a new fashion project is on its way…
I thought to keep you updated moving forward with an article a week here on my blog.
The topics are going to be the most commonly requested.

Marziposa… la lingerie comoda e seducente

Tutto ebbe inizio la scorsa estate, sulla magica isola di Formentera, quando conobbi, così per caso, una fantastica stilista di lingerie.
Il suo nome è Marzia Rota che, oltre ad essere una bravissima designer, è una persona d’oro.
Marzia gestisce dal 2011 un negozio di abbigliamento, caratterizzato da articoli di ultimissima tendenza, molto trendy, nell’incantevole “isla bonita”.
Io la conobbi infatti proprio lì al “Pampita” di Formentera, vicino alla discoteca “The Beach”.
Il percorso di Marzia all’interno del settore moda si rafforzò anno dopo anno.

Nel 2013 e l’anno seguente lavorò a Londra per il noto brand Stella Mcartney, appartenente al colosso Kering.

Dopo i due anni passati a Londra intraprese, a Barcellona, gli studi di “Personal Shopper” e fece un corso base di cucito.
La sua passione per il cucito si fece sempre più forte a tal punto da seguire altri corsi specializzati come quello erogato, a Barcellona, da “Rosas Crafts”, adatto all’ approfondimento di tecniche di cucito specializzate in lingerie.
L’ intenzione del brand “Marziposa”, fondato da Marzia é: liberare la donna dall’utilizzo del “fastidioso” ferretto, offrendo un reggiseno comodo, leggero e allo stesso tempo capace di vestire tutte le forme e le taglie, senza togliere quel tocco di femminilità e sensualità di ogni donna.

Parte interessante e stimolante del lavoro di Marzia riguarda la ricerca dei tessuti in fase di creazione.
Andare per mercati di tessuti e stoffe, in giro per il mondo, diventa la sua attività preferita (Barcellona, Madrid, Parigi,Londra, Milano, New York).
Da “vera viaggiatrice” aggiunge alla valigia e al suo zaino anche una macchina da cucire portatile.

La sua fonte d’ispirazione? “SHOCKING LIFE” di Elsa Schiapparelli!

Nel libro sono presenti vicende e frasi che accomunano, in più occasioni, la protagonista a Marzia.
Il nome di Elsa le è familiare, dal momento che, sua nonna paterna porta lo stesso nome.

Non va dimenticata anche la denominazione del brand: Marziposa da Marzia Rota e da Mariposa, in spagnolo, “farlalla”. Essa stessa è stata creata durante il periodo spagnolo.
Grazie alla presenza del tessuto “chiffon” che, lavorato al bordo, crea un effetto “VOULANT” in tutti i suoi modelli, si possono creare bellissimi mix tra top e magliette, sopratutto per l’estate.

Per questi ultimi modelli ha anche aggiunto l’utilizzo dell’uncinetto, grazie anche all’aiuto di una grande collaboratrice brasiliana specializzata in crochet.
Il suoi punti di forza sono : la qualità dei tessuti, l’esclusività dei modelli e la genuinità dell’ handmade.
È inoltre possibile effettuare modifiche e personalizzazioni sui modelli.

La mia giornata con MAKEASPLASH MILANO 👙

Raffinatezza reversibile in 20 o più modi!
Oggi vi presento un nuovo marchio che sarà davvero difficile non prediligere!
Ho avuto modo di conoscerlo durante l’open Day, con vendita su pre order, al quale sono stata invitata nelle giornate di venerdì 26, sabato 27 e domenica 28 maggio in via Palestro 24.
